Dimension 10 boss: The Darkest Lord in Soda Dungeon 2 is the last boss fight in the main campaign part of the game. The fight itself is pretty complex and require some preparation. This guide will help you to get ready for it and explain the main issues you might encounter.

Main problem in this boss fight will be the sleep mechanics, that Darkest Lord will try to apply to your team from time to time. Lets create a proper team and equip them to counter the boss skills.

Team composition for Dimension 10 boss

When you are done with Dimension 9 Boss Fight you should be ready for something bigger. For this boss you want to focus on the single target damage, high sustainability and be ready for a long fight.

In order to achieve all that we will create a well balanced team, that will do good damage to the boss and will be able to heal up all the damage boss does.

We will go for 2 Nurses, 3 Carpenters and 1 Mystic. In my case that was enough to take boss down without any problem, but you might want to do some modifications according to your gear and relic strength:

If you don’t feel like running out of mana you might want to swap your Mystic for additional Carpenter for extra damage.
If you don’t have enough healing you might want to change one Carpenter for additional Nurse

Gear layout for Dimension 10 Boss Fight

As for the gear, I strongly recommend getting the Doodle Charm for all the heroes to avoid sleep. If you lack that accessory for everyone your priorities should go like this: Nurse > Mystic > Carpenters, so your healers will always be up for the healing, then the Mystic uptime to cast mana regen if you need it, and damage doesn’t matter that much if you can stay alive for long periods of time.

As aways get everyone a Vampire Suit and level it up a little for additional evasion. That will help to mitigate some damage and make healing a little bit easier.

For the Weapon and the Shield go for max damage for the Carpenters (socketed items with attack or star gems might be a good option), for the Nurses go for the Skull Blade or Rapier for extra damage reduction or evasion and fill sockets with extra evasion gems as well. Mystic can get Infected Edge to try to poison the Boss.

Dimension 10 Boss fight tactics

This fight will surprise you a lot. First of all you will start with the boss and 12000 health. Basic mechanics is pretty simple. If you have all the Doodle Charms you should be able to evade the sleep with Dark Dreams skill. Also try to keep your health and mana at the maximum level, heal up the characters who got the poison and attack The Darkest Lord with Nail It skill, Infected Edge and so on.

When you will get the boss to 0 it might seem that you are won, but you are in for a surprise, the boss will transform and you will have to fight 13000 health boss.

Even though this abomination looks dangerous, I haven’t experienced serious issues with him if you heal everyone and play it safe.

One of the most dangerous attack from this boss is Stun, that can stun up to 3 of your heroes. If you will get unlucky both of your Nurses can get stunned and then you will have issues.

Another scary skill is Oblivion, that does pretty good AoE damage on all of your heroes and might give them burning effect. Make sure to outheal that damage with group heals, so your heroes wont be oneshotted.
