Anglerfish Review will tell about the PC game where you will take a role of a guy from bachelor party in a funny suit. It might seem like a fun quest game at start, but when the clock hits midnight things will go downhill very fast.
Have you ever been to a bachelor party that turns to hell? Well Anglerfish will prove that yours werent that bad, can you survive and escape the deadly trap?
You and your buddies decided to go to the bar and pick up girls, get their numbers, have fun and get some drinks. There is a dare: Who get the most numbers by midnight will be the best man, so everyone try hard. But as soon as clock hits 12 some very disturbing things start to happen.
The Anglerfish bar is filled with demons that massacre the entire party and even if you try to run – you cant. The main door is closed and there is no way to protect yourself. You are done for, your head is off your body and this is the end. Or not? Right after that, you go back to the bar entrance and try again, this time with additional tools to make your life easier.
As soon as you find your new best friend – Shotgun, things start to get even more fun. Now you can fight monsters back, explore and try to find a way out of this nightmare. Following the underground maze and facing different obstacles, puzzles and enemies using your wits you progress little by little.
As you go deeper into the dungeon and unlock shortcuts. Those will allow you to get to the point where you died faster and keep trying to go through another room on your way to the freedom.
Anglerfish have a lot to offer and surprise the player: game can suddenly change from a sidescroller to a top-down view, sometimes undergoing unexpected visual changes. Some areas are scary, where you travel through darkness with only a dull light, that goes off from time to time, others are run for your life zones where you gotta flee some dangerous monster.
Overall the game offers a lot of fun experience for all the players. Puzzles and fight are not that hard and can be solved in a few tries. A lot of easter eggs here and there and unexpected events that will freshen up your playthrough. Every death will change something in the game world and you are the one to figure out what.
