What is Warrior’s Dimension in Soda Dungeon 2?
First and most important thing is, that you will no longer lose your stuff in Warrior’s dimension. Bosses are replaced with Janitors and there is no level cap. Your gear will stay with you and you can finally build your dream team.
You will also unlock a new class: Dark Lord. He is very unique: you cannot change his weapon, and he have 3 accessory slots. His skills let you to protect your ally from death, do a powerful AoE attack and moves first.
Moreover you cant have more than 1 Dark Lord in your team.
Other than that you can now customize the looks of your village to your liking.
As you move deeper into Warrior’s Dimension you will encounter tougher and tougher enemies, your normal tactics will stop working at some point and you will have to adjust to those changes.
Team Composition for Warrior’s Dimension
There may be many teams that you can set up for the Warrior’s Dimension runs, but currently, there are only 2 main setups you can use for 5000+ runs, that will be the most efficient. You guessed it right: Carpenters or DarkMages. Lets go over each of those.
Carpenters team guide for Warrior’s Dimension in Soda Dungeon 2
There are a lot of variations of Carpenters team for Warrior’s Dimension and you will have to adjust your team for your current stage, relics and gear.
Right after you will get to Warrior’s Dimension, you can go with the same team you used for your Dimension progression:
Thief | Capenter |
Mystic | Carpenter |
Nurse | Carpenter/ Dark Lord |
There is a lot of flexibility in this team. You can replace one Carpenter in the last slot with Dark Lord if you want to, or replace Mystic for another Nurse when you will have enough Mana for your skills and get mana from Fairies, using keys.
Another Carpenter option is for the Carpenter teams that have enough attack to oneshot enemies:
Thief | Carpenter |
Support | Carpenter |
Carpenter | Carpenter |
With this team you can utilize 4 Carpenters to oneshot all the enemies and dont take the damage. Although Ambushes will hurt a lot and you will have to recover from that either using the Nurse or Fairies.
With this team you have a Support spot which you can use for Nurse, Dark Lord, Huntress or anyone you wish, that allows for additional flexibility.
Gear for the Carpenters team in Warrior’s Dimension
As for the gear, based on the team you will use you will have to customize your layout.
The main idea is that you want to maximize the Carpenter’s damage output, so on early stages socketed gear with high attack and star gems will be good. Later on you might want to switch to something different, based on the situation.
For the rest of the team you want to have gear that will lower the incoming damage, aka Damage Reduction gear or Gold gain gear + Essence Gain Magnets. You will have to balance out survivability with those.
For x4 Carpenter team its a good idea to try to go with Space gem, that recovers 2 MP per turn, it will work well with their Nail It, since it costs the same amount of mana.
DarkMage team guide for Warrior’s Dimension in Soda Dungeon 2
DarkMage team setup is a little bit harder to pull of, specifically at the beginning of Warrior’s Dimension. This is because they lack the single target damage by default and need enough damage to oneshot all the enemies before your turn will end and the enemies will have a chance to strike.
Also they are really gear dependent, so you wont be able to push easily from the start if you decide to go with it. Most people advise to start with the carpenter team, but DM team is viable as well.
There are several variations of DarkMage Warrior’s Dimension team, but it will mostly depend on how far are you in and how much mana and attack do you have.
Early DarkMage team for Warrior’s Dimension
This is what you will start with if you decide to go with DM from the start. Most likely you will need need to grind a little bit to get your attack, mana and magic damage up.
Your basic team will look something like this:
Thief | DarkMage |
Mystic | DarkMage |
Nurse | DarkMage/ DarkLord |
Mystic will be more or less necessary for your mana regen, since your DMs will consume a lot of mana. Nurse will have to heal you from the ambushes or can be replaced for another DM if you rely on the Fairies. You can replace Mystic for DM as well if you have good enough mana pool.
As for the gear, you will want to equip your DarkMages with Skull Blade to have good single target damage. Buff their magic damage with rings and attack gear. Its really important to be able to clear enemy groups in one go.
For the rest of the team, just as for the Carpenters, use a mix of Damage Reduction gear and Gold gain gear + Essence Gain Magnets. You will have to balance out survivability with those.
Advanced DarkMage team for Warrior’s Dimension
After you progressed enough you might want to change for Lazer build:
Craft a Tech gem, and socket it. Be mindful though that Lazer costs 20 MP, so you should have at least 1000 mana in order to use it properly and dont run out of mana.
With this setup you will be using Noxin to take out groups of the enemies and Lazer for single units and bosses.
Another benefit of this build is that you can equip proper weapon with magic attack % boost, that will significantly increase your Noxin and Lazer damage.
Rest of your setup will stay the same, but you will be adjusting it all the time to current situation.
Scripts for Warriors Dimension
You will need to modify your Scripts for Warrior’s Dimension runs, specifically after you got a little bit deeper into it.
Main difference is that you want to remove all unnecessary functions and include defend for most of the classes.
Thief, Nurse, Mystic should just do their skill when needed and defend otherwise.
Main damage load will be on your Carpenters or DarkMages and eventually on Dark Lord (when he will get his class relic).
If you want more detailed guide check the Soda Dungeon 2 Scripts Guide.
Relics for Warrior’s Dimension
Relic upgrades are essential for the progress in Warrior’s Dimension. Early on you might have to decide what to go for, but after some farming you will max your Essence Gain, HP regen, Status resist, Xp Gain and will start working on the relics without lvl cap.
First of all, based on the team you would want to go for either Physical Damage % boost relic (it works for Carpenters and Dark Lord) or Magic Damage % boost (Works for DarkMages), so think about what exactly do you want before investing in them a lot.
Moreover sooner or later you might want to work on the class relics of the characters that are you using. I would even recommend farming XP a little bit by creating a team full of the same class and equipping them with Triangle gems to maximize XP gain. Starting the run at lvl 1 and going as far as they can will bring those class relics closer.
