Soda Dungeon 2 Early Dimension Gold Farming
When you are just going through early Dimensions in Soda Dungeon 2 it is not recommended to specifically focus on farming gold. Your main goal will be getting as much Essence as possible and some gear to level your relics and beat the Dimension Boss.
Although, while you are farming the Essence, why not to get more gold while you’re at it?
First of all you want to make sure that you have Sodas for required classes. You want to have Carpenter or DarkMage, Thief, Mystic and a Nurse.
You might want to do a naked Soda Junkie run to get some starting gold.
When you are all set up make a team of your liking, either with Carpenters or DarkMages:
Thief | Carpenter/DarkMage |
Mystic | Carpenter/DarkMage |
Nurse | Carpenter/DarkMage |
Your Nurse will steal from Bosses and the Essence mobs to get you extra gold, loot and Essences.
Mystic will recharge your team mana, so they will never run out
Nurse will keep everyone alive.
Your damage dealers will take care of the rest.
Soda Dungeon 2 Gold Farming Gear for Early Dimensions
For the first run in your dimension, I would advise equipping everyone with a Silver Necklace, which you can craft at the Blacksmith to up your Item Find and get more +Gold Gain gear pieces.
Right now Item find doesnt work properly, so keep this advise in mind when it will be fixed
To increase gold find you can equip your team members with several items.
Lucky Clover | Gives 10% Gold Find |
Golden Shield | Gives 20-47% Gold Find |
Gold Armor | Up to 57% Gold Find |
I wouldn’t count too much on the Gold Armor, since its a pretty rare drop, but Lucky Clovers and Golden Shields are pretty common.
You can also craft +10% Gold find Gem, but it really doesnt worth it, because you will spend more time collecting the gold and it will disappear when you will move on to the next Dimension.
Equipping your team with Lucky Clovers and some Gold Shields will most likely pump your Gold Find above +100%, which is a pretty nice bonus!
If you will equip all your team with low lvl Shields and Clovers you can get +200% Gold Find only from gear.
Keep in mind that if you bought Tavern Upgrade for Wardrobe, you can save outfit for specific class and they will autoequip it next time you will hire them. That will save a lot of time tinkering with the gear.
You can also level your Gold Find relic, but there are so many other better options, so you’d better leave it till later. Maybe get a few levels and focus on the progression ones. More on that in the Soda Dungeon 2 Relic Guide
Farming the Gold in Early Dimensions
After you have set up everything, time to get to work! I would suggest starting with stage 1, that will give you more gold per run (per session). Those runs usually take about an hour or two, depending on how many stages do you have unlocked, how good your gear and scripts are.
Moreover, Starting from Stage 1 means that you dont have to restart your run often, so its perfect for AFK gaming, overnight farming or overall lazy people like me.
If you prefer to play more actively and always watch over your game, then I would suggest starting 100-200 levels before your max level. This will give you higher Gold and Essence per hour, because later stages drop more stuff.
You also might want to turn AD Gold Boost on for additional 10% gold when starting the run.
Spending Gold in Early Dimensions in Soda Dungeon 2
If you want to know the best ways to spend your hard earned gold in Soda Dungeon 2, I have several tips for you:
- Always check your Blacksmith Store. You may get lucky and buy cool items for really cheap. Also, if you have some extra gold you can buy Smithing Crystals to Level Up your gear
- Upgrade Tavern and Blacksmith when you can. Those upgrades stay with you forever
- If you bought everything you want, you can exchange extra gold for Essences in the Fountain
- Before moving to the next Dimension, click on the Blacksmith and Liquidate all your gear. Make sure to use all the gold before entering the portal, because it will disappear
- It doesn’t worth it to go for Clock or Remove ADs upgrade (and other really expensive stuff) until you are far into the Warrior’s Dimension, so don’t try to save up for that

Overall I’d suggest using all those tips, but don’t let it go in your head too much. Your goal is to complete the Dimension as soon as possible and move to the next one, until you hit Warrior’s Dimension.
