Rerolling in SINoALICE
I know a lot of you guys are really looking for the way to get the best start in the game and figuring out how you can reroll in order to receive the best items at the very beginning of the game.
Rerolling in SINoALICE is really simple. When you start the game, and do your first Grimoire roll you just press “Summon Another Grimoire” and you are going for another pull.
My personal opinion is dont go for heavy rerolling. If you got 2 good SR weapons you can keep playing. Its better than spending hours trying to get the best combination of the gear.
Now when you are done with your first summon you will move to the main game menu, where you will have to do your first Purification.
Purification
Purification is a way of restoring your Action Points (aka Stamina) when you dont want to wait for them to recover over time.
Also you will get some exp during this process, so you might rank up a little bit.
When you are doing Purification you will have 30 seconds to defeat as many enemies as possible. You can tap them, but it is recommended to swipe over them for faster attacks.
Also its a good idea to use the skill as soon as you got enough mana and got to the next room. This way you can use the skill 2 times during the purification process.
Dont worry about doing it properly at first, because up to rank 20 its free and doesnt have a cooldown, so you can do as many times as you want.
It is recommended to do Purification only if you need AP, so dont use it to level faster. Its better to use Action Points efficiently for the Story Campaign progress and farming.
Story Campaign in SINoALICE
Main story campaign in SINoALICE is easiest Twilight Crystal (Premium Currency) source. Moreover here you will uncover dark twisted stories of your characters and will get some easy loot for gear upgrades.
When you open main story campaign screen you will see some shining portraits, those are the chapters where you can get a free class from the level rewards.
Sooner or later you would like to clear all main story chapters and stages in order to get all the rewards, so take your time and pace it as you feel comfortable.
Fights are getting more or less challenging at chapter 3, so until then you can easily auto everything.
Quests, Missions and Events
In SINoALICE as a f2p beginner player you want to focus on finishing as many of those missions as possible, in this guide we will cover all the main types of quests, missions and event.
First thing you would like to do after you are done with the basic tutorial is take a look at the Rookie’s Path.
This is a beginners series of quests that will try to make you familiar with the game and will give you bunch of nice rewards, so make sure to finish them all.
SINoALICE Missions
Next thing you want to take a look at are missions. There are 3 tabs there: Main, Daily and Event.
Main missions are the one that will be completed as you will progress through the story and the campaign, so most likely you will get them all sooner or later.
Daily missions are… well daily tasks, that refresh every day, so you want to try not to miss them.
Event missions are most interesting, because some of them are timed, so make sure to check that tab when new event is active and do your best to complete them before expiration.
Overall mission rewards are really good, so try to finish them as soon as possible.
Events
After you will play the game for a little bit and rank up you will unlock Events in the Story section.
I will try to keep this SINoALICE f2p Beginners Guide updated with any new info on the events.
If you are trying to Evolve your gear (more on that later in the guide) you want to do them at least from time to time, because they are the best sources of evolve material.
Other than Evolution Materials there are Timed events that give you other useful materials, for example Weapons or Armor upgrade material items.
The only problem with the timed events that they are active only at some specific time during the day, you can check the schedule of those when you log in your game in the notice screen.
Sometimes event times might be really unsuitable for you, so you will have to adjust.
Now lets move on to most important part of the game – building your class.
Classes and Weapons in SINoALICE
There are 2 types of classes in SINoALICE: Vanguard (they use most of the attacking weapons) and Rearguard (they mostly use support and debuff weapons).
Each class have Specialty weapon, that you will want to focus and Usable weapons, that can be secondary in the early game.
For example Paladin Class specializes in spears, but can use swords, maces, ranged weapons.
Classes have bonuses to their specialty weapons, so they use them way more efficiently, specifically at the later stages.
Here is a table of classes and their specialty weapons
Class | Specialty Weapon | Type of Atk |
---|---|---|
Breaker | Sword | P.DMG |
Crusher | Mace | P.DMG |
Gunner | Ranged | M.DMG |
Paladin | Spear | M.DMG |
Cleric | Staff | Heals |
Ministrel | Harps | Buffs |
Sorcerer | Tome | Debuffs |
Mage | Orb | M.DMG |
SINoALICE f2p beginners Gear setups guide
There are a lot of different ways to gear your character, but for this SINoALICE f2p Beginners guide we will stick to one class.
So for our Paladin we would like to use Spears, since spears deal magical damage we can use some Ranged weapons if we dont have enough weapons to fill our available slots.
For the late game it will be not that efficient, because of class weapon skill, but it will do for early stages of the game.
You can build other classes using the same logic.
Other than the Weapons you have Armor and Nightmare Tabs in your Gear Set menu.
Armor is giving you very specific boosts to your weapons and defensive stats.
Nightmares are your “Ultimate” skills that cost a lot of SP and give you additional stats.
Gear Upgrade strategy
Considering the gear upgrades its better to level up all worthy pieces of weapons that you have, rather than going all in for one of the weapons.
There are several reasons behind this.
First one is that you want balanced layout for your character for combat. This way you will be less RNG dependent.
Second one is that your damage is calculated out of your character stats, so you want your total stats to be higher. And in order to make is as cost-efficient as possible you might want to distribute those stats evenly. Because higher the level of the item – more expensive will be the upgrade.
Other than leveling the weapon level, you can level its skill by feeding it same type of equipment. This will increase weapon skill effect.
And the last thing you have at the Gear window is Sub-Gear.
All the gear you will put in the Sub-Gear will just give you stats, but will not be used in the combat and wont get the item bonuses, like armor set bonus.
So you want to stack your main stats in the Sub-Gear to make your character stronger. Recommended is working pretty well for that, so if you are lost, you can use that function.
Gear Limit Break
Limit break is increasing the maximum level of the gear and its skills.
In order to limit break an item you need to feed it the exact same item. This can be done 4 times, which will give you 20 additional item levels.
Gear Evolve
You can evolve your gear to the next rarity using special materials.
This will reset the item level (skill levels will stay) and make the item 1 rarity higher (SR>L, S>SR, A>S and so on).
Be mindful that right after the evolve process item will have less stats and you will need to level to about level 40 to get ahead of maxed lower rarity tier.
Class Upgrades in SINoALICE
Classes can be upgraded using special Mastery points.
There are 2 upgrades classes have: class and common ones
Class ones are giving you bonuses for your Specialty weapon. If you see (class+ stage) it means that this bonus will only work in specific missions. For Example if you use Alice in her story campaign.
Class common bonuses apply to any of your characters, even if you dont use the class that have that upgrade, so it might be a good idea to level all your classes at some point.
Class Limit Break
Limit Break Class increases class max level and costs specific class Arcana item.
For this particular class we get 2 additional common skills, nothing else changed, so be cautious of who you invest in.
