SINoALICE Points and Gear Guide.

There are several ways to increase your points in SINoALICE, this guide list all of them and will help you to grow fast, main focus will be on gear upgrades though.

Points value is based on the attributes of the character, more stats you have, the higher will be points.

Having high points value is important, because:

• It allows you to get access to the higher stages of the events
• It will make your AI CPU characters that join you on stages more powerful
• Since stats increase your points higher stats make your character stronger

It might seem simple that you just need to increase your stats, but there are small tips and tricks that will allow you to make it more efficient, fast and cheap.

Before we start, make sure that you’ve read SINoALICE Beginners Guide and know the bare basics of the game.

Each attribute, be it P ATK, M ATK, P DEF, M DEF will give you 1 point.

Gear Upgrades

Gear Upgrades will be main source of points for your character in SINoALICE, so this guide will have a lot of info about equipment.

First of all lets cover some basic gear mechanics.

SINoALICE Main Gear

Main gear have up to 20 Weapon slots (based on your rank), 4 Armor slots, 5 Nightmare slots. You want to work hard on your main gear, because it gives 100% of its stats to your character.

Other than amount of Weapon slots in the Weapons tab there is a weapons max costs value. It grows with your level and governs overall power of the weapons you can equip.

Each weapon have its costs to place it in the main weapons tab, its the same as activation cost and the sum of all weapon costs cannot increase your maximum Value.

SINoALICE Sub-gear

Other than the main gear, there is a sub-gear tab, where you can equip any type of weapons. That allows you to equip weapons, which otherwise will be unavailable for your character.

But there is a limitation to the Sub-Gear in SINoALICE – it will only give you 10% of the equipped items attributes.

Items equipped in the Sub-gear wont be used in battle and only give you stat bonuses, so dont worry about type or element, using recommended usually works pretty well.

Make sure to equip best equipment in your main gear set, because you will get more points and stats from that gear.

Upgrading your gear in SINoALICE

In order to increase your attributes in SINoALICE you need to upgrade your gear.

You want to make sure that you are upgrading all the items that equipped in your main gear tab. It is way more efficient that putting everything you have in one item, because stat gain per cost will be way more efficient.

When you go to the upgrade screen it might be problematic to find the items you have equipped in the Main set, because a lot of stuff have “equipped” tag on it.
You can go around it by deleting all extra gear sets and unequipping Sub-Gear, that way only your main character Main gear will have equipped tag and it will be easier to pick the right options.

Its better to upgrade all your SR and S stuff a couple of levels when you equip them, this way it will gain more stats and wont cost you too much.

Dont forget to upgrade your Armor and Nightmares the same way, since they give you attribute bonuses too.

Limit Break the gear

Limit Breaking the gear in SINoALICE increasing item and skill level cap. In order to Limit Break you need to feed an item its exact copy of any level.

Limit breaking evolved items doesnt require you to evolve the fodder, you can feed original item. For example: to limit break L item you can use basic unevolved SR items.

There is no real benefit Limit Breaking early on, because it still costs a lot of resources to get equipment to max level, and as mentioned before, its more efficient to level up all your main gear first. So dont worry about it in the early game.

Evolving the gear

In SINoALICE Evoving means upgrading the gear rarity. If you start with an S item you can evolve it to SR, if you start with SR you can evolve it to L and so on.

In order to evolve an item you need to get it to the maximum level and then use special evolve materials to finish the process.

If you already Limit Break the gear you will need it to reach the lvl before the limit break in order to evolve (60/65 for example)

Be careful with Evolving the gear early on, because after the process item will reset to lvl 1 and its stats will be lower than max leveled item of the previous rarity.

You will need to level the item to 35-45 in order to get previous amount of attributes, so it might be costly and you might not have enough fodder. That will lead to lower overall points, even though the item skill will be stronger

Getting the fodder for gear upgrades

There are several ways to get the fodder and upgrade materials that you need to improve your gear, lets go over each of those.

Farming Events for Upgrade Materials

The best way to get fodder upgrade materials for your Weapons and Armor are Squirming Darkness events.

There is one problem with those events though – they have set times and short duration.
If you are unlucky and event times arent comfortable for you it will be harder to level everything properly. You’d better save some Skip Tickets and try to attend at least one of the scheduled events during the day.

Evolve materials events are on the weekly rotation, so you might need to wait a day or two before you will get the one you need.

Clearing and Farming Campaign for the Upgrade Materials

Another way of getting the upgrade materials is clearing and then farming the campaign. It might not be so efficient in terms of cost to fodder items, but it will allow you to rank up faster. That in turn will increase your weapons cost limit and restore your AP, so you can farm longer.

First it is recommended to go through all the campaign levels and clear all the available stages for all classes. When you’ll be done with act 1, move on to act 2, since Hard mode doesn’t give any significant increase in the drops.

When you are done clearing the campaign pick the chapters with a drops that you need, also keep in mind that some stages have S ranked Nightmare drops chance, so its another good way to strengthen your character.

Using event shop

You can also use event shop to spend medals in order to get additional upgrade and evolve materials, but be careful, since there are a lot of other rewards.

You might want to wait until close to the end of the event to make sure that you bought all the main rewards, before spending leftovers of your medals for the upgrade and evolve materials.

Getting the Gear in SINoALICE

Just upgrading the gear might not always work in SINoALICE, you need to get new gear too. You will need a lot of good S and SR items of different elements in order to make a good layout.

There are several ways of getting the gear in SINoALICE and most of them require patience or your wallet. Its up to you to decide which one to go for, we will list all of them.

Using Grimoire

Using Grimoire for items seems to be the most natural and obvious way of getting the gear and hunting for those rare SR pieces. Although make sure not to overspend your premium currency and stop when you pulled what you wanted. Otherwise you might miss out some unique collaboration events that will have rare heroes, classes and weapons available.

Using the Shop

Most of the shop options are for the players who would like to use their money to buy something, but there are some options that are available for F2P players too.

If you click on the Items tab you will see some starter packs. They cost only 150 twilight crystals and contain 5 very good weapons, one of those is SR. Pick the one that suits your class the most (Vanguard or Rearguard).

Try to buy all 5 of them, that will allow you to limit break those items all the way to the maximum and will make them really strong, when they are leveled.

Using the Medal Exchange

In order to buy stuff from Medal Exchange in SINoALICE you need to get medals first. They are being awarded from all the different sources based on the ongoing events.

Each shop contains various items and some of them have really good and pretty cheap affordable SR weapons and gear. Make sure to check each shop to make sure you wont miss something that you would like/ need.

Try to aim for getting 5 of the same type of item for the late game, but early on you can get whatever you feel like.

Be sure to spend the event medals before they expire, otherwise you will just lose them.

Class Upgrades

When you level up your character class you will unlock one of two types of skills:

• Class Skills. They will increase weapon damage for main class weapon. Unluckily these wont help you to increase the points.
• Common Skills. They will increase attributes for all the characters, even if leveled chars aren’t being used.

Our goal is to work on Common Skills. CLv. 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10 will give you additional stats. Even though the attribute bonus is small, it will stack up, will be permanent and not dependent on the gear you equipped.

It is recommended to increase all your available characters to level 4. Early levels doesn’t cost that much of Mastery points and will give good boost to your attributes.

Additional Points Tips and Tricks

• Do campaign missions to increase your rank (that will increase your Weapons cost )
• Dont forget to equip the gear when you level up and increase gear slots and gear costs limit
