Archfiend Candidates

Archfiend Candidates are your main heroes in Destiny Child: Defense War. They use skills that can help you to turn the tide of the battle, so selecting right Archfiend Candidate can make a difference between losing or winning the game.

Every time you use the skill, next one will cost double amount of mana. So if you will use skills too often sooner or later you wont be able to afford them.

Lets cover each Candidate and take a look at their skillsets and how they can be useful:

Master

Master Archfiend Candidate

Master is the first Archfiend Candidate that you get. His specialty is summoning additional Childs. By default you will get 2 One star Childs, and there is an additional chance to get additinal child on each summon. As you level him up, his cooldown goes down and chance to get additional child increases.

He might be useful for the new players, since he is your basic Archfiend Candidate and he helps you to fill the board faster with many Childs. Later on he is mainly used with cheese decks, where you need to spam a lot of Childs and merge them together in order to distract an opponent.

Dalia

Dalia Archfiend Candidate

Dalia is one of the epic rarity Archfiend Candidates. Her specialty is temporary damage boost to all your Childs. As you level her up, her cooldown goes down and damage overdrive boost, along with duration increases.

She is a good candidate for beginner players, her skills can help you to kill bosses before they use their skills and get out of the tight situation. Later on she isn’t that useful, since her skill doesnt provide strong enough damage boost to prevent boss skills. And those skills destroy your formation, making you lose the match.

Eve

Eve Archfiend Candidate

Eve is another epic rarity Archfiend Candidate. Her specialty is removing the debuffs from your Child and creating barriers, that protects them. As you level her up, her cooldown goes down and duration of the skill increases.

She is a good candidate for all players, her barrier skill can help you to avoid Boss debuffs, like Clown’s randomizer, Fridge’s freeze and Cube’s prison. Not only that but barrier protects from debuffs from your opponent, like sniper shots, slow and such. Moreover, her Remove Debuff skill clear most of the debuffs your Childs have, unluckily Cube’s prison isn’t one of them, and you cant clear it. So she is useful for all game stages, as she helps you to kill bosses without sacrificing your board formation.

Frej

Frej Archfiend Candidate

Frej is legendary rarity Archfiend Candidate. His specialty is changing one of your or oponnent’s child to a random one. As you level him up, his cooldown goes down and mana reduction increases, meaning that price of the skill wont go up that fast.

Right now Frej is considered to be one of the best candidates in the game. But since he is legendary rarity getting him might be problematic for new or f2p players. His skill can be used in many ways, such as clearing your own debuffed Childs (frozen or turned into a cube prison), modifying your formation by randomizing key spots or making havoc in the opponents formation.

Beginners Guide to Missions that will help you to get stronger

There are several missions and quests in Destiny Child: Defense War, that will give you a lot of free stuff, like gold, Childs and diamonds and its really important to focus on them early on to reap those benefits as soon as possible.

Mission from Gegute

Mission from Gegute

Mission from Gegute is set of beginner quests, that will reward you with a lot of free stuff for each quest you finish. But the main rewards are at completion of level 3 and level 5 – Legendary bags that will allow you to get legendary Childs!

Each level consists of 10 consecutive quests, which have to be done one after another. When you finish all 10 of them, you can claim current level reward and move on to the next level.

Some missions are progress based, such as “reach arena level 5”, so you will have to progress the game in order to finish all the quests.

There are some tricky missions, for example “Play co-op mode 1 times with friend”. In order to friend someone go to community tab, than click friends tab and add friends using their codes (most likely it will be your clanmates). After that you can start coop mode and send invitation to the friend from the list.
If you are still confused about the solution, the exact steps are in the video, that is located at the bottom of this article.

Daily missions (Quests)

Daily missions (Quests)

Daily missions is important part of the game progression. Every day you will get daily gifts for time spent in the game, and a quest, that you will have to finish.

You can have up to 3 quests active at one time, and if you have less that that you can watch an AD to get another one for free.

Completing daily quests and collecting daily gifts adds to the progress of the main reward at the top of the screen. Rewards are random, and based on the rarity requires different amount of progress points in order to be unlocked.
You can get legendary bag in the rewards, so doing those quests is strongly recommended.

Devil Pass – Season pass in Defense War

Devil Pass

Devil Pass is a variation of commonly used Season Pass for Destiny Child: Defence War.

You get 2 point per PvP victory and several point for Co-op playthrough depending on your progress.

When you collect 10 points you will get reward for the current level.

For f2p players its a normal bag, that have standard amount of cards. For players who bought season pass its different type of rewards, either gold or special boosts or bags that contains really good rewards.

When the season just starts most of the season pass tiers are locked and you have to wait for them to unlock or spend resources / money.

There are total of 35 tiers available, with last reward being legendary card for both f2p and p2w players and each season lasts for 30 days.

Challenges

Special Challenges

Challenges are special events in Destiny Child: Defense War that usually take place on the weekend.

During the challenge fights you play normal PvP fight but with the different special conditions. Sometimes you wont be able to use specific Childs or will have to include specific child in your deck.

For each challenge you have to win 12 times in order to get all the rewards, and you cannot lose more than 3 times. Although if you will lose 3 times you can restart the challenge and give it another go.

All the challenges have time limit, usually for a few days, after which challenge will disappear.

Beginners guide to Game Mechanics in Destiny Child Defense War

Now lets talk about actual game mechanics and how you can progress in Destiny Child Defense War.

Arena levels

When you win PvP battles you gain Crown score. As you get more Crown score you unlock more and more stuff in the Arena Level screen. First you will get some free cards, gold, diamonds and bags, but when you get enough Crown Score you can advance to the next Arena Level.

Each Arena Level will get you Bag Booster when unlocked for the first time. Bag booster cuts in half time that you need to open your bags, making your basic 3-hour bags instant after watching an AD. That may be used to your advantage to get a lot of Childs and gold.

New Arena level will allow you to get more cards from each bag and request or donate more cards to your Clan. That is useful, because you can get more Childs and get more exp by donating.

Moreover on each new Arena Level you will unlock new Childs that can be summoned using bags, so you can get more available heroes to use.

Although advancing Arena Levels comes at a cost. Mobs in PvP are getting stronger on each level, so you will need more damage to kill them.

After you reach 4000 Crown Score you will be promoted to the Demon League, starting at the Demon Challenger. At the end of each season, a portion of your Crown score will reset along with the leagues’ Crown reward. Moreover Entering a league season prevents your Crown score from going below 4000.

Player Level

Player level in Destiny Child Defense War is determined by the amount of experience you have. You get Exp for leveling your Childs (upgrading them) and donating to your Clanmembers. It is really important to get as much exp as possible, so dont be greedy and donate to your teammates a lot.

As for the Child leveling, I would recommend getting them to the point when the next upgrade costs 2000 gold. It seems like a sweet spot for the newer players. Of course you should level your main Childs, that are being used in your Deck formation as high as possible.

When you increase your level you will get 1 Mastery point. Those can be used in order to learn skills in the skill tree. Dont be afraid of making the wrong decision here, you can always add or remove points as you see fit and try out new combinations.

Each next level will cost more and more exp, it may take a while to gain a new level.

Shop Guide for Destiny Child Defense War

Lets move on to the shop. We will mainly focus on the Daily Specials, since this is where most of the interesting things are.

First of all, try to save up 40 000 gold, because sometimes you can get either legendary bag or legendary Child here. It will be really sad if you will miss the opportunity.

I would recommend buying all the Childs (especially the ones that are in high demand for donations) up to the point when you can level them up. And of course always get the Childs that are in your main Deck or you plan to use them.

When you bought everything you wanted you can watch an AD and get the new set of items here.

As for the Diamonds, I would strongly recommend to save up 2500 of those for Legendary Archfiend’s Bag. This investment will guarantee you Legendary pull. Otherwise you might spend way more and get less.

If you plan to use some $$$ to boost your progress you should start with Devil Pass. This is defo the best investment you can get in the game. Next step will be buying Legendary packs, usually all the Childs in those packs are pretty good and they can help you to overcome most difficulties.

Conclusion

Main thing that will help you with the progression in Destiny Child Defense War is being consistent. Doing all the quests and finishing Devil trigger to get legendary Child will boost your progress a lot and learning and mastering Decks and team compositions take time.

When you have resources and working deck its just a matter of time before you will reach higher leagues. Progression takes time, so be patient.
